If Usain Bolt wins the 200 and Jamaica wins the 4x100, does Bolt equal Michael Phelps? ?
I mean, I know he can't match Phelps in golds but that's not what I mean. You can't really measure success at the Olympics by the amount of medals won simply because it's not a fair comparison between sports, with swimming giving medals away like crazy.
After seeing his record breaking performance in the 100 this morning running a 9.69 without trying, you gotta think if he can repeat that twice more in the 200 and 4x100, he might be just as much of a star as Phelps in these Olympics. Probably not though, just because of the exposure Phelps has gotten. Don't get me wrong though, 7 golds probably deserves that kind of exposure. What do you think?
If you haven't seen the race because your from the states and NBC's coverage sucks then I would reserve judgement on this question because I am telling you, Bolt was ridiculous this morning. Watch it.
Indeed, I agree. Phelps had the opportunity to qualify for and win 8 gold - if he does then that is fantastic.
Bolt had the opportunity to qualify for and win 3 gold - if he does, that would be equally fantastic.
Bolts achievement should in no way be diminished because there is only the option to go from a to b - where as in swimming there is 4.
I will say however that I am a little iffy on the swimming relays simply because the team that qualifies is not necessarily the same people stood on the dias having medals hung around their necks. I think that if these swimmers are good enough to take all the credit, then they should qualify for themselves. JMHO.
How do I know if Golf Grips will fit my clubs?
I'm hoping someone could give me a little advice. I'm new to golf, so I don't know to much about it at this point. I bought some used clubs (Golden Bear), seems like a decent set for a beginner. I didn't want to buy nice ones just to tear them up. However, I need to replace the grips. I have watched many youtube and howto videos on how to do this and it doesn't seem very hard. The only problem is I don't know which ones to buy. I have heard golf pride makes good grips and I was looking at these from Amazon.

I'm worried because I'm not sure if their the right size. Are all clubs pretty much a standard size? I have no way to measure the diameter of my clubs, so I'm not sure what I have.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, I prefer to shop at Amazon.
Replacing grips on clubs is better left to sporting goods stores or golf pro shops who are experts . Check out the prices and you will find they are quite reasonable, the job will be done correctly and the grips will be the right size for your hands.
