A baby play mat may not be at the the top of your list of "essential things to buy" but its actually an important piece of equipment that can play a crucial part of your babies early development.

What else will I need?

Okay, my baby is almost 3 months old and I want to know what else you think that he will need within the next year i like to have everything way ahead of time

I got a swing, play gym, play mat, stroller, carseat, bouncer, diapers, wipes, changing table, diaper bag, bouncer (not walker) baby food jar holder, a few sippy cups

What else?
Oh ya i have teething toys and a high chair i just got

How about some books to read to your child, music for them to listen to, learning movies for to stimulate the mind. And uh, oh yeah...patience.
